Meet Kenai
I'm a beautiful 2 to 3 year old husky who hasn't had it so easy but my foster mom says I'm a diamond in the rough. I need to gain about 20 pounds. Despite my svelte appearance, I'm very cuddly, house broken, I walk pretty good on a leash, I love soft pillows, blankets, and love to snuggle. I get along with other dogs and live with my foster siblings very well. I'm a pretty mellow fellow in the house but I can really run outside so securing me is very important. I'm pretty tall and will fill out with good food and exercise. I have a good foundation for manners already but I will need further training to help me not pull when I'm excited. You are really gonna turn some heads when you walk with me! I ride very well in the car and enjoy walks. I just love hanging out with my people. I also love kids. They are really good at playing. My favorite game is tug of war! I'm not sure what to do with balls yet. Maybe you could teach me? I look forward to meeting my furever family. Please consider adding me to your home!

As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
